Middle of the night, the phone rings, Tom gets the phone and I run, put clothes on, grab my bag and head for the door WHEN Tom stops me and tells me it was for him and he got called to the station for a fire. This baby better come soon or they really will come and put me in the home!
Trying to work off my excess energy and have been putting about an hour a day on the Wii. I really am enjoying it. So far the lowest Wii Fit age I can reach is 28 and that was only once. Usually it's around 33-35. Still not bad for a 60 year old. Doing pretty well with the yoga, except for the tree stand thing - still want to fall over on that one.
Looking forward to spring and to New Orleans. It's their 40th anniversary and lots of big names are going to be there this year. We have a full house coming to stay with us. Tom and I, Kate and Dave, Dave's brother and his girlfriend and a couple of Kate and Dave's friends. Tom and I will be the only old folks and I have no intention of trying to keep up with the youngsters. We pretty much go our own way and enjoy ourselves with lots of music, food and people watching. (Usually it's our kids we're watching!). Here are some pics from the Jazz Fest in years past. And, oh yeah, that is me with my buddy the Mayor!
